Connie Mitchell works in acrylic and collage to produce gardenscapes and floral still life.  The work has a theme of renewal and is characterized by texture, vivid color and organic form. 

Mitchell holds the degree Bachelor of Fine Arts (magna cum laude) and has exhibited extensively in Western Canada.  She has served as an executive on an art gallery Board and as a juror for numerous art exhibitions.  She recently moved from Saskatchewan to Vancouver Island.  Her work is included in corporate collections in Canada and in private collections in Canada, the U.K. and the U.S.A.
